Hi crafty friends! I’m Lien from Studio Kato and I’m so happy to be joining you on the Seize the Stamp blog today!
Today I have a very fun and simple card to share with you guys using a bunch of Pinkfresh Studio products. I started out with the Brighter Days stamp set. I stamped the large stamp down onto Clairefontaine DCP 250 gsm cardstock (very smooth cardstock, perfect for inkblending!) with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed the images with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder.
I then used the coordinating stencil set to color these in. I used post it notes to mask off the other flowers while I blended one of them. I made an orange flower with Apricot, Clementine and Persimmon ink, the teal flower is colored with Ocean Breeze, Aquamarine and Tidal Pond and the pink flower is Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum and Raspberry Bliss. I love these Pinkfresh Studio inks! I die cut them with the coordinating die and while I had my machine out, I die cut all the other pieces as well.
For my background I used the Sparkling Diamonds background panel and simply cut it from white cardstock. I used the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die set to die cut the smallest frame out of matt silver cardstock and 3 times out of thick white cardstock and layered all of those together. I also used the Curvy Leaves die set and cut all those dies from green cardstock. I put everything together with some liquid adhesive but propped the flowers up on some foam tape.
I also added a sentiment from the Perfect Sentiments stamp and die set by Pinkfresh Studio and that almost finishes up my project. Now if you know me, you know that there’s going to be 2 more steps: 1) Sparkle, which I added with the silver gems from Pretty Pink Posh and 2) I made a matching envelope with my We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 punch board and some patterned paper.
Thanks for stopping by!
