Christmas Shaker Card

So, I’m a shaker card newbie. I know – this trend has been around a long time (I don’t even think I can still call it a trend!). But, there have been so many lovely shaker cards floating (pun intended) recently, I thought I’d give a go. I have to say, I’m very happy with the result.

I went with a non-traditional colour palette for this card – and I think I will turn to this combo again in the future (maybe for an upcoming colour challenge?). The greenery from the Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Botanical Background stencil was done using Distress Oxide Iced Spruce, Forest Moss & Hickory Smoke. The berries and the border of the card are Picked Raspberry. And amazing Waffle Flower shaker card products – such as the A2 panel here – made this a breeze to put together.

What are your tips & tricks for shaker cards – I’d love to hear! Leave a comment below!

Happy weekend & happy crafting!
