Monochromatic Stenciled Flowers

I have been so excited to work with all the new styles & products on the market, but the slimline card and layering stencils were on the top of my list.

I am blown away by the layered stencils that are so popular right now. They are such a clever product – beautiful shading, equal to that of Copic coloring, easy to use, endless possibilities. And a very appealing feature for those crafters among us with less space, they are easy to store and take up no space.

For today’s card I used the Pinkfresh Studio Slim stamp set: You are my Favorite. To achieve the layering, I used the coordinating layering stencils.  I went for a monochromatic look for this card, using shades of grey for the flowers. I used silver cardstock to cut out the rectangle frame from the Pinkfresh Essentials: Stitched Rectangle set. I love this narrow frame.

I was definitely intimidated by the slimline shape, but these specialized products make it really easy! A fun card to get me started back in my craft room.

Thanks so much for stopping by – I really appreciate it!
