I have a card today for the Papertrey Ink anniversary celebrations. The challenge I chose was to use a stamp set that has never been inked. Unfortunately, I have quite a few of these in my collection, but opted for Bigger Blooms. In truth, I have used the sentiments in this set a lot, but never the floral images, so that is what I focused on for this card.
To create the inked background, I blended Pale Tomato and Dark Quartz inks over a Hero Arts stencil. Next, I stamped and die cut a cluster of flowers using Pale Tomato, Dark Quartz, Soft Cantaloupe and Berry Sorbet ink, with Simply Chartreuse leaves – I love this combination of pinks and peaches. Lastly, I die cut ‘Thanks’ from the WPlus9 set, Hand Lettered Thanks, and carefully adhered it to the card.
A nice Springy card to remember that sunnier & warmer times are in our future!
Thanks so much for stopping by today – have a great day.
