Neat & Tangled Release Week – Day 2

Hello! I am so bummed I missed day 1 of the Neat & Tangled release – it was amazing, right?? Great projects from the design team. But, I’m here for day 2 sharing projects with 2 new sets – Life is Beautiful & My Sunshine. These stamps are both great – such sweet images in Life is Beautiful & My Sunshine features Danielle’s stunning handwriting. My Sunshine is the July/August incentive stamp – for more details check out this post.

Onto the projects…I kept things super simple for the Life is Beautiful set – I wanted to focus on the adorable little potted flowers. I did some simple coloring with Copics & popped the cream panel up on kraft with foam squares. I just adore the tiny images.

Next up is My Sunshine. I decided to make a Project Life 3″x4″ filler card using the sentiment.Β The background was made using the Sunburst stamp. I stitched through each ray to add some interest to the card. I then stamped and fussy-cut the sentiment and popped it up with foam. This will add such a bright pop of color to a summer scrapbook page!

Neat & Tangled Release Week – Day 2

Welcome back for day 2 of the Neat & Tangled release week. Today is an extra special one for me – we are debuting the Dala Horse stamp and die set and Scandinavian Flowers. My husband is Swedish and I adore all Scandinavian design. On our first trip to Stockholm, I thought I had died & gone to heaven. I could have spent the whole day in Svenskt Tenn – a design store that carries a wide range of Josef Frank designs – my favorite designer. Β I love the busy and bold designs of Swedish textiles – the use of color is just extraordinary. I chose this design as my inspiration.

I wanted to keep the front all about the Dala Horse & Scandinavian Flowers, so I opted to put the sentiment on the inside. I used the small Dala Horse die for the first part of the sentiment to showcase that adorable horse die.

Be sure to stop by the Neat & Tangled blog to see all the amazing design team projects and comment for your chance to win these gorgeous sets. They will be available to purchase, along with the rest of the release, on Friday.
