Papertrey Ink Birthday Selfie

Hello again!

I am popping in quickly to share another PTI anniversary celebration card. I actually made this card for the Timer challenge before I realized I had already missed the deadline – grrr. So, its a simple one  – just 7 supplies & not a lot of frills! But, I thought I would use it for the birthday challenge instead – and just in the nick of time today as well…

And, for this challenge, we had to take a picture of ourselves with the card too – please ignore my ponytail hair and messy craft room!

That is all for today – thanks for stopping by!

Papertrey Ink Timer Challenge – a minute too late!

Hello! Super quick post today. I wanted to share a card I made for Timer Challenge for the Papertrey Ink Anniversary even though I am past the deadline! Boo! This was fun – 7 supplies is not many at all and you really had to think creatively about stretching your supplies.

LiveLife

I wanted a few different shades of green on this card, but had to settle for doing some second generation stamping instead. I have had this Meadow Greens set sitting on my desk un-inked for ages so thought it was a perfect opportunity to put it to use!

Sorry about the bad photo – this was taken with only a wee bit of daylight left outside!

Here are my 7 supplies:
1. Ripe Avocado cardstock
2. Rustic Cream cardstock
3. Meadow Green stamp set
4. Ripe Avocado ink
5. Classic Kraft ink
6. corner rounder
7. twine

The card came together in less than 10 minutes thanks to a simple design!

Thanks for stopping by today & have a great weekend!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Celebrations – Day 1

Hey there! I love the Papertrey Ink anniversary celebrations each year. I am sucker for all the color combos & sketches. I made a card for Day 1 using a the color combo of Kraft, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf & Ripe Avocado – definitely not my go-to colors, but good to try something different! Now I’m feeling like the card looks a bit empty, but oh well!

Ok, thats all for now – hoping to create something else soon! Have a great Friday!

Make a Wish!

Hello crafty friends. I feel like there is so much exciting stuff going on right now in the craft world. Lots of great companies having anniversary celebrations – hard to get done anything done with my blog reader overflowing with inspiration!

Makeawish

I did manage to make a quick card for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge – over the edge. I cut the card base a little narrow to allow for the banner hanging off the edge. This came together easily thanks to gorgeous Studio Calico Print Shop papers and a this fun sentiment set that I was so happy to finally ink up!

Thanks so much for stopping by today – I appreciate it!

Bannerific

Monday already??? Where does the weekend go? Ours always fly by way too quickly!

I have a very quick card to share tonight. I could not get a good picture of this card for some reason – left it until too late in the day I guess – so apologies!

Banners

The card is for the current challenge at Case Study, where the muse is on my faves – Donna Mikasa. I created a similar background as the one featured on the blog, but used the Hero Arts Tweed pattern. I should have left it a whole piece, but unfortunately I cut it into strips. I was so sad once I did it, but I managed to incorporate one into a cluster of banners. The star banner is black, though in the picture appears almost navy.

Thats all for tonight – thanks as always for stopping by!

Quick Card Set

Hey & happy Friday! I don’t know where the weeks go – how about you? I am coming home to Ohio on Monday for a month with my little one. Can’t wait, but dreading the flight ;-)

So, on Wednesday I shared my card for the 10 Minute Craft Dash – I promised to share a slightly simpler version of this already very simple card. I whipped up a set of 10 of these in no time.

Hello Sweet Baby

Hey! Almost Friday and in the final crunch for this weekend’s fair. If you’re in Zurich, make sure to check out the Expat Expo on Sunday!

SweetBaby_tag

I have been making lots of little gift tags & wine bottle tags that I will share over the next few days. I’m trying to keep things simple on these tags and Mama Elephant stamps have great, small images – especially the Nursery Deco set.

Alright, thats all tonight! Sorry for the sporadic and short posts lately – more PL and cards to come sometime soon!

PTI Stamp-a-Faire Limited Ingredients Challenge

Hey friends!

Well, I’m in the final run up to a fair this weekend, so I am currently working like a crazy woman trying to get things made. But, I really wanted to take a quick time out to participate in at least 1 of the PTI Stamp-a-Faire challenges. I was drawn to the limited ingredients challenge as I didn’t have a lot of time to spare. I also used a sketch from another challenge as inspiration (again – needed all the help I could get today!).

I’ve been so inspired by the DT’s (and other challenge participants) use of Mini Blooms & Bigger Blooms – I love these sets, but never really put them to good use. So, I challenged myself to use them today – I really love the result. And, I NEVER use Melon Berry. I don’t dislike it, but for some reason it is never calling to me from my shelves! Glad I gave it a try though as I love the finished look.
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy all the fun stuff going on in blog world!
