Just for Fun

Hey friends! So, the little one & I are back in Zurich. We arrived on Tuesday after taking a red-eye & it is good to be home & slowly getting into the swing of things. The 6 hour time change is proving exhausting for both of us – we’re spending a lot of time awake between the hours of 10pm and 2am, but thats life. It is definitely worth it for a month spent with family & friends back home.

Anyway, it has been FOREVER since I made a card just because. I have a to do list a mile long, but last night I felt the need to just create something. I used the sketch over at Case this Sketch for inspiration and pulled out the most recent Simon Says Stamp kit – quick & easy.

HI
Nothing too fancy and not the best card I’ve ever made, but still fun to use some new goodies. Alright, have a great Friday & thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Craft Challenge – Alter it!

Hello blogosphere! Happy Bank Holiday Monday to my UK friends! Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend and fingers crossed it actually stays sunny today.

I’m here today sharing a super fun challenge for Cupcake – Alter It! This is definitely not my area of expertise, but I had lots of fun giving it a try. And, I think I will start customising all my own notebooks and diaries now ;-)

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Pink Gem Designs who are offering one lucky winner 4 digital designs. And, its still birthday month for Cupcake, and we have 3 monthly sponsors. We are joined by Crafts U Love, who are generously giving a Β£15 Gift Voucher to spend in their store, Mo’s Digital Pencil, who are offering a $10 gift voucher and lastly, Sew Sweet.  Sew Sweet are offering one lucky winner a Β£10 Gift Voucher.

The design for the front of the notebook is based on the Vertical Sketch over at Moxie Fab World

Make sure to check out all the wonderful DT creations over at Cupcake for inspiration and hope you can play along!
