I recently purchased some of the new Lawn Fawn stamp sets and have been very excited to ink up On the Mend – it is so cute! I have been wanting to do some rainbow color scheme cards lately, so thought I would ink up the tissue box and give it a try. (sorry for the bad picture!)
Well, I’m back from a great weekend away learning all about Copics. I am complete beginner with Copics but have always been so hopeless using them, so decided it was about time to get some real lessons. I met great women who are all so talented – I was blown away by their skills.
Anyway, the card today pre-dates the Copic retreat and is actually for the Moxie Fab World Stamp-It Stamping with Markers challenge. I love this new sympathy set from Hero Arts and inked up the flower with my Marvy markers. I did learn how to use Copics direct to stamps though and can’t wait to give that a try next This card is also for the Anything Goes challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.
Thanks for stopping by & watch this space for lots of Copic cards coming soon!
Its a big month over at Papertrey Ink. They are celebrating their 4th year – its hard to believe that they’ve only been around 4 years. It seems every issue of every magazine has at least 1 Papertrey Ink product on every page. I have only recently started card making and have already built up quite the stash – every set is gorgeous!
Over at Nichole’s blog they are doing a BIG giveaway (huge, actually!) and in order to play along we’ve all been asked to select our favorite projects from the last year. This is a tough one as every thing I do probably has a PTI product, but I’ve narrowed it down to a few cards.
I posted this one recently for the January Blog Hop – I like that I did something a bit different on this card with the ribbon vase.
