Hey blog friends! TGIF! It is a beautiful day here in London, so don’t spend too much time staring at your computer
A pretty long post today – I managed to get a few cards done for some challenges finishing today, so wanted to sneak them all in under the deadline.
First up – a card for a little boy turning 2 soon. I never make cards for little ones (besides baby cards!) so this was a fun change to pace. The sketch is for the challenge over at Skipping Stones Design and the because it is colorful, it is also going in for Wee Memories Color Challenge.
Last up, a birthday card for my friends father-in-law. I struggle with masculine cards and am always inclined to keep them very clean & simple. Not sure about this one though – it is looking a little too simple for me right now, but can’t put my finger on what it needs! Suggestions welcome! I used the stapled twine element from the card by Angie Hagist on the CPS blog – thought it was perfect for a guy! This card is for the CPS challenge & .
