You Are Awesome

Yes, I mean you :-)

&You'reAwesome

I made this card for the challenge over at the Little Tangles to use masking. I cut a large ampersand from my Silhouette and temporarily adhered it to my card base. Next, with some bold Mister Huey’s, I spritzed away to create a dramatic background. I clustered some stamped elements and embellishments on the bottom left side (doing a lot of this layout lately!). I stamped the greeting from Neat & Tangled’s You + Me set. I use this sentiment all the time – I love it.

I think this card works well for a guy – what do you think?

Ok, thats all for me – lots to do during Jacob’s nap time today! Have a great Thursday!

Celebrate

Hello again! I hope everyone had an incredible Christmas – full of lots of laughter and quality family time!

I’m getting in the New Years mood and made this festive & colorful card, fitting for the upcoming holiday. This is another card for the Avery Elle challenge – using the same sketch as my previous post here – but a totally different look! I tweaked a few of the angles on this one…

Thanks so much for stopping by during your holiday break! I hope you are having a great one!

Happy Day

Hey all! Cannot believe it is Friday already! And nearly the end of August – ahhh!!! I have so much to do at the moment, so I’m going to keep this short & sweet. I put together this simple card for a card kit – really quick & easy thanks to some fun October Afternoon chipboard, washi tape & Mister Huey’s.

10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge

Hello! Today is my first challenge as a DT member over at the 10 Minute Craft Dash – I’m super excited! I love the challenge so much and it has really pushed me to get back into crafting over the last year since moving to a new country & being a full time mom. I hope it inspires you as well to crafty even if you’re short on time!

The sponsor for the challenge is Clearly Besotted Stamps – they have gorgeous stamps and the winner will receive 2 stamp sets of their choice! Woohoo! Reason enough to play along.

So, onto the card. I have found that I need to keep my creations super simple to stay within the time & I often opt for spray mists for quick color. This took me 9 minutes & 51 seconds – just in the nick of time!

Hooray for Studio Calico

So, this month the wait finally ended! I am now receiving the Studio Calico Project Life kit – yay! I was really excited to receive it & can’t wait to start sharing some of my PL spreads in the next couple weeks. I’m new to PL, so I haven’t found my groove yet, but the gorgeous kits make it easier.

Yes

Anywho, I was easily tempted to add on a few other products – including the Roundabout Card Kit Add on. It had so many fun bits and I love the stamp set. I made this card based on the weekly sketch challenge over at the Studio Calico blog. Yesterday’s post also uses the same sketch – not sure if the hemp bow helps the design or not – thoughts?

Hope everyone has a great rest of your weekend! Thanks for stopping by :-)

Sending Hugs

Wednesday already? I don’t know where time goes. The days are long, but the weeks fly, if that makes any sense! Anyway, wanted to share a quick card I made earlier this week for the current CAS-ual Friday challenge – Map Quest. I hope a globe qualifies as a map :-) I made something similar for my dad for Father’s Day – seems appropriate living so far from home.

Globe
That’s all for now – check back later for a card using the June Simon Says Stamp Kit – loved all those Basic Grey Hipster goodies!
