A Blog Named Hero – Christmas Quickies

Hey there!

Popping in to share a quick set a mini Christmas cards. I made these for the Christmas event over at A Blog Named Hero. This week they’re featuring quick Christmas projects.

xmasquickies

These little cards came together super fast thanks to the amazing Hero Arts Brush Stroke set and the super fun neon inks. Each card measures 3″x 3″ and I think they took me about 2 minutes each – like I said, super simple!

Stamped Notepad

Hey friends!
Just a quick post tonight – exhausted after an early start at a Christmas fair today – had to wake up at 5:30 to guarantee I could shower before the little one got up for the day.

Anyways, I’m over at A Blog Named Hero today sharing a simple little gift idea. I picked up a square notepad and stamped the sides with some lovely Christmas trees. I know there are companies that make these pads specifically for stamping and that would have worked a little better, but it still worked fine. Nothing ground breaking, but a nice little teacher’s gift or something along those lines.

The other project I’m sharing is a wine bottle tag – I always make tons of these around the holidays – my friends all love them and they are the perfect way to dress up a bottle when you are being hosted for dinner or a party.

Guest Designer at A Blog Named Hero

Evening friends! Just a super quick post to let you know I am one of the guests today over at A Blog Named Hero. They are having an amazing month full of inspiration and I’m honored to be amongst the talented contributors.

Today I’m featuring a few products that were on my holiday crafty wish list: Hero Art’s Shari’s Tree no. 2, Tiny Star Background, Silver Ink & Basic Grey 5th & Pine paper (sorry for the poor pictures – not tons of sunshine in Switzerland right now!).

Season’s Greetings

Hey there! So sorry for the absence. I was really hoping to blog more while I was here in America, but it has been beyond crazy & busy. But, I made this before I left & thought I’d share it – Christmas cards are already starting – time just flies!

SeasonsGreetings
I just love this Hero Arts stamp set that is a few years old – I go back to it again & again for Christmas cards – it is so elegant. The beautiful paper is from one of my favorite Christmas paper packs from Authentique.
Thats all for today – check back on Wednesday for a new 10 Minute Craft Dash!

Fresh Cut Florals

Hello again! So, I’m a bit late to the WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals party – it sold out so quickly I wasn’t able to get my set until pretty recently. The set is absolutely gorgeous, but I have to admit I am finding it a little tricky to line up the flowers & dies. And the hyacinth – definitely not perfect – but, working on it!

I made this card for the WPlus9 Monday Mood Board & Case this sketch challenges. Happy I finally got a chance to ink up the set – can’t wait to play more!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!

10 Minute Craft Dash #25

CD25

Hello! I’m thrilled to be here today sharing a card for the new 10 Minute Craft Dash! This challenge is just the best – it has really been pushing me creatively and I hope it is doing the same for you! This week’s card took me 8 min 36 seconds. Each challenge I perfect my method a bit more ;-)

This week our sponsor is the fabulous Lawn Fawn – such nice, generous people! Check out this great prize…

I made this card during a manic week full of craft fair prep – I was going for a super simple card that I hoped to turn into a card set. This particular card is super simple, but I simplified it even further for the set – I just made a 1 layer card with the feathers stamped & skipped the twine – I’ll share that one tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by & make sure to check out all the details over at Pretty Pink Posh & play along!

Happy Day

Hey all! Cannot believe it is Friday already! And nearly the end of August – ahhh!!! I have so much to do at the moment, so I’m going to keep this short & sweet. I put together this simple card for a card kit – really quick & easy thanks to some fun October Afternoon chipboard, washi tape & Mister Huey’s.
