Pretty papers for a pretty girl

Hi everyone!

I finally have some computer access – we currently have no working computers at home, so I’m very grateful that my sister-in-law brought her computer this weekend for her visit to London. I am definitely struggling with the Swedish keyboard though! Anyway, on to the task at hand…

Another baby girl card today. I finally convinced myself to use some Crate Paper that I had been hoarding for a looong time. I used a pretty little rub-on (thanks very much Lucy!!) and didn’t stamp a single thing — very strange for me!

The sketch for this card is based on the current sketch over at Get Sketchy and also for the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today – off to pack for my Copic retreat this weekend!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Hi everyone!
I’m participating in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop for the first time this month & was very excited about the challenge: ‘This month’s blog hop challenge involves you challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust!’

I have made 2 cards for the Blog Hop. The first uses Larger than Life and the second uses Heart Prints. Both of these sets are beautiful, but I don’t use them nearly as much as I would like.

Here is the first card – the sketch is based on the current challenge over at Clean & Simple Stamping – sketch 124 – and the colors are for the Neutrals Color Challenge for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week in the Moxie Fab World Challenge. This ‘ribbon vase’ is much better in real life! As I definitely freed my creativity on this one, I’m also entering into the current challenge at Wee Memories.

My next card uses Heart Prints & Fancy Flourishes – the sketch is based on the current challenge over at Get Sketchy. The colors are more pinks for the Monochramatics Color Challenge for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week  over at Moxie Fab World. This also fits nicely with the current challenge, ‘Sweet Inspiration’ over at A Passion for Papertrey.

Thanks for visiting & enjoy the Blog Hop!
