Thanks for stopping by! Check back later for another instalment of Clean & Simple cards!
I’m here today actually sharing a card I’ve made that is not just for a DT! With moving house & getting ready for the arrival of baby, card making has unfortunately fallen to the bottom of the list, but I’m desperately trying to get some holiday cards made before its too late! And, I treated myself to a few early gifts this year and bought some fun Christmas stamps – I needed a little inspiration!
This card is for a few challenges – the sketch is based on the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge for this week & I had so much fun inking up Waltzingmouse Big Blooms – Poinsettias. As I’ve incorporated a tag, it is also for the current CAS-ual Friday challenge. And, lastly A Passion for Papertrey is having a Christmas card challenge – perfecto!
..during my pregnancy that I would actually make a card that wasn’t for one of my DTs and just for fun! But, alas, that day happened this week and I am finally starting to get some energy back to get creative (something that has been completely zapped!). Hoping the trend continues and I can find the time, energy & creativity!
Today’s card is for the Play Date Cafe challenge, CAS-ual Friday challenge (embossing) & uses the Clean & Simple stamping sketch. I finally inked up Papertrey Ink Mehndi Medallion, which I love and got out lots of embossing powder!
Hey everyone! A quick post tonight showing a card I whipped up for the Play Date Cafe & CAS-ual Friday challenges. I knew I wanted to play with both of these – gorgeous colour combo over at Play Date & so many options at CAS-ual Fridays.
For the CAS-ual Fridays challenge I chose the bottom row – Flowers, Buttons & Twine. I finally inked up my new Hero Arts Blossom Art stamp set – I love it! The sketch is based on the current design over at Clean & Simple Stamping.
Thanks for stopping by!
I don’t often make card sets, but I thought I would start coming up with some single layer thank you note sets to expand my collection (apologies for the bad photos!).
I love Papertrey Ink’s Dot Spot & thought it would be fitting for the job. I stamped the double-ended banner stamp from Banner Builders and masked it off when stamping the dot image.
I also did matching & lined envelopes for this set – its amazing how much a decorated envelope can enhance a card! I used various Papertrey Ink Bitty Dot & Bitty Box papers in purples & pinks.
This card is for the current ‘Bring the Bling’ challenge at CAS-ual Friday.
Thanks for stopping by!

Wednesday evening already? I seriously don’t know where the time goes!
A couple baby cards to share today – I had so much fun using some sweet My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup chipboard for these.
This first card is a CASE of the super talented Laurie Willison’s card here. I was in love with this card when I saw it and really hope she doesn’t mind that I’ve borrowed the design & her clever use of gingham. She is one of my all time fave designers – I could CASE all her stuff!
