Project Life Week 5

I’m back to sharing some Project Life today. I’m still so behind on doing PL & blogging about it, but one day at a time, right?!? Ok, apologies up front for the TERRIBLE photos of this spread – I really can’t figure out how to get good shots of this yet!

Anyway, I’m sharing week 5, which was way back in February. This was the week of our little guy’s 1st birthday party, so those are the only photos – made for a very colorful & vibrant spread though!

There you have it! A simple spread using the Seafoam edition, lots of Ali Edwards digital products, washi tape & staples.

Project Life – Title Page

Hey friends – long post today!

Today is my first day sharing my Project Life album. I wasn’t sure about sharing the pages – I’m just  starting the album and getting my flow. But, I’m hoping that by sharing them it may keep me accountable – I’m going to try to post something each week. Lucky for me I’m so far behind I have plenty to share!

Anyway, like I said I’m just getting started. Now, I’m pretty incapable of keeping something simple. I bought the pre-made Core Kits & read all about putting the album together on Becky’s blog, but alas, I had teach myself Photoshop (not a bad thing to know as it turns out!), embellish all the filler cards & over complicate things, in general. So, the pages are taking me A LOT longer than I would have expected, but I’m hoping the efforts will be worth it. That being said, I want to feel like I’m making progress documenting our life, so some weeks will have to simple – something I’m having trouble coming to terms with!

This is the cover page for the 2013 album:

Title Page
Because I was feeling really overwhelmed by the process creatively, I borrowed some elements for this page from some of my favorite PL designers – Ali Edwards, Susan Weinroth & Deb Duty. I’m hoping as I find my groove with the album I’ll find a style that is more of my own, but these women are such great inspiration as I start my journey.
Thanks for stopping by & sorry for this little novel!
