Our computer is finally back from a little visit to the Genius Bar. What a shock to have no computer for almost a week. Luckily, it was just a battery issue and our baby is home safe. It is crazy how disconnected you feel without your computer. But, alas, all is ok and I am back today catching up on some Project Life spreads to share.
This is my final spread from our summer trip to the states – our last week of vacation, which we spent as a family in Florida. As my husband and I both live in different countries from our respective families, 99% of our vacations are to visit relatives. This is part of the deal when you live abroad and something I have come to terms with after nearly a decade of living across the Atlantic from my nearest & dearest. However, sometimes we also just want to go somewhere as our own little family of 3 and see something new. So, this time we did it and we had a great time. It wasn’t anywhere too exotic (well, it was for my Swedish husband), but it was great all the same and we are so grateful to have the opportunity for that week.
For this very simple spread I relied on the Poet Society Studio Calico Kit & the September Gossamer Blue kit. I also borrowed some advice from Project Life expert Celine Navarro and typed my journaling directly onto some labels and a printable card from the Poet Society printables. This saved me a lot of stress & time. Journaling is probably my least favorite part of the process and this made it much less painful!
I’ll be back with some more cards later this week! Have a great day & thanks for stopping by!
