Birthday

For my card, I cut a triangle pattern background from my Silhouette. I temporarily adhered it to a sheet of 4″ x 5 1/4″ white cardstock and got inky with sponge daubers and Distress Inks. The sentiment is heat embossed in black on vellum and wrapped around the panel. I added some coordinating sequins, popped it up on a kraft card base & called it a day! Super easy, but bold & graphic. It did take me nearly the whole 10 minutes – finished just in time at 9 minutes, 57 seconds.

Thanks so much for stopping by – your next stop is the super sweet and talented Kelly Marie Alvarez! Enjoy the hop & be sure to play along! If you lose your way along the hop, check out the full list at Pretty Pink Posh.

Edited to add: I noticed a fun challenge over at Moxie Fab World – Trendy Triangles. I’m linking this up there as well!

WOW – fabulous card, and the fact you created this beauty in under 10 minutes amps up my ‘awe’ response! The stamping alone would have taken me 10 X 10 minutes! Stunning!

Ok, I’m putting this in my inspiration file for future scraplifting purposes. Love the design and it would be so easy to change the colors and sentiment as necessary.

I have tried this technique and I had failed. My color combo was nowhere so good as yours. I will have to take this as an inspiration and give a go at it again. Your card turned so fab! TFS.
