Just a Note

Sorry for the quiet blog this week – don’t know where time is going at the moment. It is crazy to think it is almost July!

So, I’ve been making a few card sets lately. I always think I can whip these out quickly, but inevitably they take forever. This set took me all morning – maybe I’m just a slow crafter! Anywho, I managed to finish the notecards and some of the envelopes, but thats it. Check back soon for the packaging…

Hooray for Studio Calico

So, this month the wait finally ended! I am now receiving the Studio Calico Project Life kit – yay! I was really excited to receive it & can’t wait to start sharing some of my PL spreads in the next couple weeks. I’m new to PL, so I haven’t found my groove yet, but the gorgeous kits make it easier.

Yes

Anywho, I was easily tempted to add on a few other products – including the Roundabout Card Kit Add on. It had so many fun bits and I love the stamp set. I made this card based on the weekly sketch challenge over at the Studio Calico blog. Yesterday’s post also uses the same sketch – not sure if the hemp bow helps the design or not – thoughts?

Hope everyone has a great rest of your weekend! Thanks for stopping by :-)

Giving Paisley a Try…

Wahoo – Friday night! Hope everyone had a good week. Ours was busy, but I’m hoping for a relaxing weekend. I’ve been promised some crafty time, but we’ll see – it usually doesn’t happen :-)

Anyway, just wanted to share a quick card. I recently bought the WPlus9 Paisley stamp set – I love the images. I think the options will be endless with this set, but kept it simple for this card. I used the current Studio Calico sketch as inspiration and the colors are inspired by the WPlus9 Monday Mood Board.

Oh Snap
Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!

Thinking of You

Morning! Very quick post this morning! I recently received my Simon Says Stamp June card making kit – let me just say getting monthly kits is so much fun! It definitely keeps me inspired & knowing I will get a box every month really feeds my craft supply addiction (not sure thats a good thing though!).

Anyway, I made this card using the Case this Sketch design as inspiration. Love this mix of papers in the kit & thought I would also link this up for the Moxie Fab World Mixy Matchy Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by & come back later to check out a Wplus9 Paisley card. I can’t wait to get my hands on their new floral set, but it is sold out EVERYWHERE!

Sending Hugs

Wednesday already? I don’t know where time goes. The days are long, but the weeks fly, if that makes any sense! Anyway, wanted to share a quick card I made earlier this week for the current CAS-ual Friday challenge – Map Quest. I hope a globe qualifies as a map :-) I made something similar for my dad for Father’s Day – seems appropriate living so far from home.

Globe
That’s all for now – check back later for a card using the June Simon Says Stamp Kit – loved all those Basic Grey Hipster goodies!

Love….

Hero Arts Daubers!!! And all the new stamps for that matter. The ‘Stamp Your Story’ release really is inspiring me lately. I have been sticking with the floral images with the daubers for the time being, but hoping to find some time soon to play around more with the other images and new ink colors. I’ll be sharing this for their current contest – ‘Stamp Your Story’.

Love
Alright, keeping it short & sweet today – I’m beyond exhausted – my little one gets up at 5am everyday and I never manage to drag myself to bed before 11pm – it is definitely catching up with me! Night!

Happy Friday!

Hey! Happy Friday to all of you. I am super happy it is the weekend – yay!

I wanted to share a card I made today – this came together very quickly thanks to a great sketch over at Case this Sketch and the gorgeous new Hero Arts Stamp Your Story stamps and ink daubers. I am really loving the look of this latest release and just can’t get enough of the daubers.

Thankyou
I achieved the look of the flower by swiping Butter Cup, Pale Tomato & Field Greens on the stamp and spritzing with just a little bit of water – enough to blend, but not enough to lose the definition & bold color. I’m linking this up with the current Hero Arts contest to use their new stamps & the Case this Sketch challenge.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!

Happy Day

Hey blog friends! Hope you’re all having a good week. I’ve been taking advantage of the first bit of sunshine in about 6 weeks – Jacob & I have been busy playing outside and even taking a dip in the pool  – such a treat!
HappyDay
Anyway, wanted to share a quick card I made over the weekend – I created this with the great prize package I got from winning a past 10 Minute Craft Dash – so many fun goodies! This card came together really fast, thanks to the gorgeous Maggie Holmes die cut pieces.
