Nichole had a great video using Perfect Pearls. I haven’t used them in a long time and it was great to get out some old supplies & be re-inspired! I used it to create a metallic wedding card. For some reason, I didn’t get great coverage on the image, but I’m still happy with the result and I will definitely reach for them more often. I’m also including this on the Passion for Papertrey challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Anniversary, Take 2

HappyAnniversary

I have another anniversary card to share today – someone has requested a few – and actually, I find them pretty difficult! I never know if they should have love-themed images or if they can just be floral, graphic, etc…What do you think? I opted for floral on this card.

The card sketch is based on the current challenge over at Retro Sketches – I would never have come up with this layout, so it was a great challenge! And the colors are for the current Color Q challenge.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great Friday!

PTI Blog Hop

Hi all. Welcome to the PTI Blog Hop. I haven’t joined the fun in many, many months and I really wanted to take part when I saw the tilted theme. I’ve been really loving diagonal design lately – I did a similar card last week here.

The stitching is far from perfect, but I felt the rows of hearts needed a little something extra. I am also linking this up for the Passion for Papertrey challenge. Anywho, thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Map = Man

Hello! Sharing a quick masculine card today. I definitely struggle with masculine cards, but this map stamp from Hero Arts helps them come together quickly! I was inspired by the black & white color palette over at Runway Inspired Challenge & it works well for masculine cards. Apologies for awkward photo, but this style of card is hard to photograph!

This card is also for the current Birthday Bash celebration over at CAS-ual Fridays. Thanks for stopping by & have a great week!

Dinosaur Love

Hey!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I’ve got a house full of sick people, again! So, 1 sick baby + 1 sick husband = 2 sick babies. We just can’t seem to get healthy around here. And, waking up to snow didn’t help anything! Oh well, I did manage to sneak into my craft room for 10 minutes and create this sweet little card for an upcoming birthday party.

Happy Everything
The colors were based on the current Paper Smooches Sparks challenge – really unusual color palette for me, so it was a good challenge.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great rest of your weekend!

Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit

Morning!

Hope everyone had a great weekend – we finally had some sunshine & warm weather here in Zurich & it was such a treat.

I wanted to share a quick card I made for the current Cas(e) this sketch challenge using the April Simon Says Stamp card kit. This is my first month on the card kit subscription & I’m really excited! I loved all the bits & pieces and can’t wait to make a few more cards. And the colors are great.

Hello
I had to go a little bit overboard with the hearts to cover up some ink smudges, but I’m ok with it. It is hard to see in the photo, but they are covered with Glossy Accents and look much better in real life!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Mama Elephant Meets 10 Minute Craft Dash

Hey there!

Happy Friday! I played along with the 10 Minute Craft Dash for the first time last night & came up with this simple card. I found it really hard actually – my time ran out just as I was putting on the enamel dots. But, I’m happy I managed some ink blending & sewing within 10 minutes :-)

Congratulations
The sketch is based on the current challenge at the Mama Elephant blog – I only have their Nursery Deco set, so didn’t have tons of options, but I think it turned out pretty sweet.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great start to your weekend.

Birthday Wishes

Hi there!

Hope everyone is having a great week so far – mine has been busy! Just wanted to pop in & share a quick card for the big birthday celebration challenge over at Simon Says Stamp. This simple card was done using Memento markers & a Hero Arts wood stamp. The stamp has a label, but I simply covered it with a post it when I was coloring the stamp.

More Dip Dye Mister Huey’s

Hey everyone!

Just a quick card to share again today – more of the dip dye Mister Huey’s technique, courtesy of Lisa Spangler. I really love this look – I’m sure you’ll see more of this on here in the future. I kept the card really simple and let the mists do the work. Oh, and those enamel dots – love love love.
