Heat Embossing

Hey Everyone!

Hope everyone is getting ready to enjoy a lovely holiday! I am off tomorrow to France to ski with my husband’s family. I think I will be babysitting more than skiing, but it will still be nice to get away for a little while.

I thought I would share a quick card today before heading off. I made this card to teach in an upcoming workshop – it isn’t my usual style, but I do like the bold look. For the black panel, I first stamped the flower image in white, then slightly offset the embossed image.

Happy Holidays and see you in the New Year!

Day 12 of 12 Days of Holiday Projects

Wow! Can’t believe we are already on day 12 of The 12 Days of Holiday Projects Blog Event. I want to send a big thank you to Donna for organizing this. I haven’t pushed myself to be very active on my blog in awhile and this really helped!
I’m sharing one last wine bottle tag today. This simple tag can together in no time with the help of glitter paper & gold embossing powder. It is really hard to see in the picture, but the white paper is also glitter & the whole tag is super sparkly!

As this project is very shiny, I’m linking it up for the current Tuesday Trigger in Moxie Fab World.

elcome to Day 10 of The 12 Days of Holiday Projects Blog Event. Several crafty bloggers and I decided to post one holiday project a day for 12 days – just for fun.  The projects will be anything crafty like cards, ornaments, wreaths, advent calendars, etc…

I’m sharing another wine bottle tag today. (I did warn you there’d be quite a few!) For this one I used the Papertrey Ink 2012 Holiday Tags & a gorgeous paper from America Crafts Kringle & Co. 6×6 pad. I used the PTI Half & Half die for the patterned paper, but it is a little hard to see in the picture. Everything is popped up with foam adhesive so this tag has lots of good dimension.

Day 7 of 12 Days of Holiday Projects

Hey everyone! Welcome to Day 6 of The 12 Days of Holiday Projects Blog Event. Several crafty bloggers and I decided to post one holiday project a day for 12 days – just for fun.  The projects will be anything crafty like cards, ornaments, wreaths, advent calendars, etc…

Today I’m sharing a very quick project. I did loads of these mini cards for fairs & hostess gifts. They are teeny-tiny –  2 3/4 in square – and they were super fun to make. I did loads & them came together so quickly. These easy-peasy ones were done with embossing folders & 3-dimensional stickers.

I’m sharing a holiday card today using a great Hero Arts/Basic Grey stamp set – this set got lots of use for me this holiday season. I love the banner image for non-holiday cards as well! I got the idea to fussy cut and wrap the twine around the label from a card by the brilliant Kelly Rasmussen.
