A Super Simple Solution

Hey there!

So, if you follow my blog (thank you!) you’ll know I’m currently struggling with my balance in life – finding it a bit difficult to find time for anything besides my amazing little baby (if I do say so myself!). Needless to say, I was pleased to have an order for some cards from a local shop, but stumped on how I would accomplish everything with not a moment spare in the day.

Enter: the super simple card. I was thumbing through all my gorgeous papers (which I am seriously addicted to) and decided – why not let these amazing papers do the work for me??? I covered my card front with a paper from a My Mind’s Eye paper pack, added some rhinestones and a sentiment and called it a day. The sentiment set is from Hero Arts – one of my all time faves.

I think the flowers on this paper are just stunning – and the asymmetry of the card works well. In fact, I think I will enter this into the Moxie Fab Asymmetry Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

I like what you’ve done with the paper! Smart quick move! I just read your post a few down about finding time to craft. I actually started papercrafting when my first was 8 months old. I found that I needed something for me. Your home more when you have kids and at night more and I wanted something to do that wasn’t baby or cleaning the house related! And I always wanted to teach my kids to play by themselves too, not just with me. At first I didn’t blog it and I think that is what takes a lot of time. BUT I would show all my friends it and want to chat with them about it, and while some of them did it too they didn’t love it as much as me. So it was great to find the online crafty friends! Now as a mom to a 4 and almost 7 year old it can be hard to find time so I can’t always do it but sometimes I just need to unwind and have something for me so I make time! I guess what I am saying is that when as your son grows you may have more time or need something for you! :>
