Shine Brightly

Hello! Happy Saturday to everyone! I’m so happy it is the weekend.

I finally had a chance to play with some new Hero Arts Neon Ink – I wasn’t sure if I would find them that useful, but they are FAB! I’m so happy I bought them!

This is for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge – We’re so Trendy – hoping to play along a few times with this one – its a lot of fun! I was inspired by Joy’s beautiful card here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Trees

Hello!

Another busy week here at the Izakowicz household! Hubby has been traveling all week, but I am feeling pleased with myself for completing a 40-card order & submitting 8 cards to the Paper Crafts Magazine call. I would have like to made more, but no such luck! Unfortunately, Project Life has taken a serious backseat and I’ve only just started!!! Hoping for a bit of time over the weekend…

Anyways, enough rambling…onto the card. I was really inspired by the colors & theme over at Embellish Magazine and haven’t played along in AGES! So, here is my quick card. I pulled in just a hint of blue with some subtle inking along the top edge of the card…

This is also for the Paper Smooches guest design team search! Thanks for stopping by & have a great day.

A Super Simple Solution

Hey there!

So, if you follow my blog (thank you!) you’ll know I’m currently struggling with my balance in life – finding it a bit difficult to find time for anything besides my amazing little baby (if I do say so myself!). Needless to say, I was pleased to have an order for some cards from a local shop, but stumped on how I would accomplish everything with not a moment spare in the day.

Enter: the super simple card. I was thumbing through all my gorgeous papers (which I am seriously addicted to) and decided – why not let these amazing papers do the work for me??? I covered my card front with a paper from a My Mind’s Eye paper pack, added some rhinestones and a sentiment and called it a day. The sentiment set is from Hero Arts – one of my all time faves.

I think the flowers on this paper are just stunning – and the asymmetry of the card works well. In fact, I think I will enter this into the Moxie Fab Asymmetry Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!
