Birthday Wishes a la Betsy Veldman

Hey everyone! Hope all my American readers had a great 4th of July. I was pretty homesick here in Zurich, but I’ll be in the states next week! Yay! We could use the holiday as well – Jacob is really suffering with his reflux and we are getting NO sleep around here. Nothing is helping yet, but we’re still hopeful.

Anyway, here today sharing a card I made for my mom’s birthday. I was inspired by Besty’s card in the technique section of the new Stamp It! magazine from Paper Crafts (I have 2 cards in there – woohoo!). I rarely ‘stamp-off’, but it is such an easy way to get more depth on a card (apologies for the bad photo).

As I was inspired by the wonderful issue of Stamp It, I am going to submit this for the current Moxie Fab Birthday Card challenge. I love Betsy’s style – I am a far cry from achieving her look, but she is truly one-of-a-kind.

Have a great day & weekend!

Bride & Groom

Morning all!

Just a quick post this morning to share a wedding card I made recently for one of my dearest friends. It is a simple, one-layer card and the gorgeous Papertrey Ink stamp does all the work! I did a layered button as well – a nice simple detail that adds a lot of oomph!

Sorry for the bad, over-exposed photos – need to get used to the lighting in our new flat here in Zurich and find the best spot for my pictures!

Thanks for stopping by!
