Mirror Stamping

Hey everyone! Hope your weeks are all off to a good start. I have a super quick card to share today using the mirror stamping technique that was covered in the Clean & Simple Card Making Class. I used some sweet Lawn Fawn animals to give this a try. I was definitely inspired by this sweet card Chari made using these adorable cows.

This card is for the Anything Goes challenge over at Simon Says Stamp! Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

1 stamp, 2 ways

Hello! Another quick post tonight – squeezing in some more Valentine’s Day cards. One of the great features of the Clean & Simple Online Card Class is the 1 stamp, 3 ways. I was attempting that with these cards, but only managed 2 ways…hopefully I’ll have a chance to come up with a 3rd variation sometime soon!

These cards use the Hero Arts Old Letter Writing woodblock stamp – in one instance as a portion of the background and in the other card, stamped onto die cut hearts.

The first card is for the current Passion for Papertrey Valentine’s Day challenge, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Embossed Hearts

Hey everyone! I’m having a super busy week, so going to keep this short & sweet. It has started to dawn on me that my due date is fast approaching and there is lots to be done around the house (less than 3 weeks now!). I’ve been really enjoying the Clean & Simple Card Making Class but finding less & less time to make projects :-(

But, I did manage this quick card – I used a sketch from Day 1 and tone-on-tone embossing that I think was covered in Day 3 or 4. I also wanted to use a very white canvas, which was discussed yesterday – so lots of elements combined into one! This is also for the Moxie Fab Embossing & Debossing challenge and the Passion for Papertrey Valentine’s Day challenge – I used all PTI cardstock, ink & die cuts!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great rest of your week!

Final Wee Memories challenge

Hello everyone & happy Saturday! Hope you are all enjoying your weekends so far. I’m here today with the FINAL Wee Memories challenge – I can’t believe we are really winding this great challenge down! It will be so sad to see it go, but we really do wish the best for Jenny and her stamping future :-)

This week’s challenge is a great sketch — and we have 3 fab sponsors – There She Goes Stamps, The Twinery & May Arts! Definitely make sure you play along – lots of goodies to be won! I used the There She Goes Stamp set called Love Birds – I had so much fun coloring this sweet image! The sentiment is Papertrey Ink, but there is a super sweet sentiment in this set (I’m just hopeless at using digi stamps!).

Thanks for stopping by & be sure to upload your creations to the Wee Memories blog by next Friday January 20.

Single Layer Cards

Friday! Yay! Just a super quick post tonight sharing some single layer cards I did for Day 2 of Clean & Simple Card Making. I still haven’t attempted projects from days 3-5! Hopefully I will have a little time this weekend, but it is looking like a busy one…

Anyways, onto the cards – went with Julie’s layout and made a little set of thank you notes in muted, earthy colors – I love the way they turned out, but apologies for the terrible photos!

Thanks for stopping by & check back tomorrow for a new Wee Memories challenge!

You Turn Me On…

Hello there! This week is flying by – can’t believe it is Thursday already. I got some quality time in the crafty room at the beginning of the week, but I’m afraid that is diminishing now – busy weekend ahead!

Anywho, onto today’s card. This is another one for the Clean & Simple Card Making Class – using a sketch from Day 1 (I’m so behind – still haven’t even attempted cards from the other days!!). It is also for the Paper Smooches Guest DT search and the Passion for Papertrey Valentine’s Day challenge.

Thanks for stopping by & check back later for some single layer cards!

Chipboard fun

Hello again! It is going to be a busy week here on the blog! Today I’m popping in to share a quick clean & simple baby card using chipboard. I have a big stash of chipboard and I just love when I can put it to good use.
This card is for the current challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays & Lily Pad Cards.

Thanks for stopping by! Check back later for another instalment of Clean & Simple cards!

Clean & Simple Card Class – again!

Hi again! Back to share another card for Day 1 of Clean & simple Card Making. This is similar to my post from earlier today, just using different motifs. I had my husband in mind when I made this card – good masculine colors for Valentine’s Day…
Thanks for stopping by!

Clean & Simple Card Class – Day 1

I’m very excited to be taking part in the Clean & Simple Online Class – the first two days have been great – just the inspiration I’ve needed!
Yesterday Kristina provided us with some fab sketches and I have some Valentine’s Day cards to share using those sketches. I took some liberties, but the general idea is still the same…
I’m not sure a card which uses this much patterned paper is considered Clean & Simple – what do you think?

This card is also for the Passion for Papertrey Valentine’s Day Challenge. I’ll be back later sharing a similar card with slightly different motifs. Thanks for stopping by!
