A cheerful snowman

Hello! Can’t believe it is Wednesday already – really don’t know where the time goes! I have another quick holiday card to share today. I finally inked up the super cute Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends and made a very simple card that is easy-peasy to mass produce. The sketch is based on the current challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

This card is also for the current Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp. Thanks for stopping by and have a good rest of your week!

Noel

Hey everyone!

A very quick post tonight – wanted to share a card I made for the current CASE study challenge – I love the inspiration card and thought it would make a great CAS Christmas card. I finally used my Prismacolor colored pencils for this and I just love them. I didn’t blend the image very much, but I sort of like the look.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great week!

Merry & Bright

Hi all! Hope everyone back in the states had a great Thanksgiving! I always get homesick this time of year and with no travel plans in site (being 30 weeks pregnant will do that!) it was especially hard. But, alas, I have lots going on & a lot to look forward to, so not all doom & gloom around here ;-)

A quick Christmas card to share tonight – this is for the current Hero Arts challenge, along with a Passion for Papertrey Christmas card challenge. I used some of the new Papertrey Ink Autumn Rose colour – I’m loooving it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

This card is also for the current challenge at Passion for Papertrey.

Holiday Season

I’m here today actually sharing a card I’ve made that is not just for a DT! With moving house & getting ready for the arrival of baby, card making has unfortunately fallen to the bottom of the list, but I’m desperately trying to get some holiday cards made before its too late! And, I treated myself to a few early gifts this year and bought some fun Christmas stamps – I needed a little inspiration!

This card is for a few challenges – the sketch is based on the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge for this week & I had so much fun inking up Waltzingmouse Big Blooms – Poinsettias. As I’ve incorporated a tag, it is also for the current CAS-ual Friday challenge. And, lastly A Passion for Papertrey is having a Christmas card challenge – perfecto!

Thanks for stopping by – hope you’re having a great week!

Morning! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Its time for another fab Cupcake challenge – this week’s theme is Textalicious. For this challenge you’ll have to get super creative – use a page from a newspaper, dictionary or book or a stamp with text print. For my card I die cut flowers from a book and layered them to create a big textalicious flower.

This week we’re joined by the lovely Simon Says Stamp who are offering a $20 gift certificate to the lucky winner! And our monthly sponsor for November is is Crafts U Love who are generously giving away a £15 Gift Voucher!

Cards that Care Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Its a great day here in the blogosphere! Today is the Cards that Care blog hop – a massive event to get everyone excited for this year’s Card that Care card drive. This is a great cause – all about bringing joy during the holidays to the elderly who live in nursing homes through your beautiful creations. For full details about the card drive, please visit Vera’s blog.

You have all weekend to visit the blogs on the hop and comment to win. The more comments you leave on all participating blogs, the more chances you have to snag AMAZING prizes from Lawn Fawn, Penny Black, Sweet Stamps Shop, Avocado Arts, & I Love It All. Comments can be left until Sunday 11/6/11 at midnight CST and the winning comments will be chosen at random. You should have arrived here from the talented Laurel Seabrook’s blog.

My card features a hand-stamped background using the Hero Arts Woodgrain stamp and the adorable new Christmas stamp, House & Home background – I just love it! I also used some yummy new Basic Grey paper from the Nordic Holiday collection.

Your next stop is the wonderful blog of Kathy Racoosin. And, don’t fret if you lose your way – a complete list of the blog hop can be found at Vera’s blog.

Thanks for stopping by!
