Cupcake Craft Challenge 152 – Shabby Sparkle

Hey everyone! Happy Monday to all of you.

I am home after a great week at CHA at the Papertrey Ink Stamp Affaire – it was all incredible, but happy to be home relaxing in Ohio for a few days before heading back to Canton.

Its time for another Cupcake challenge this week – this time it is Shabby Sparkle. I don’t really do shabby very well, but added some lace and vintage touches to this otherwise simple card.

So, get out your shabby touches and some bling and play along! This week we are joined by Sassy Studio Designs, who are generously offering the winner 4 digital images of their choice.

And, the Icing on the cake sponsor is Polka Doodles, who are offering a selection of gorgeous Christmas stamps. And, don’t forget to check out the lovely DT creations over at the Cupcake blog!

Cupcake Challenge 151 – Wish upon a star

Hey everyone! Happy Monday. As you read this post I will be taking a Copic Certification course in Rosemont, IL and preparing for a week of CHA fun! I am one lucky gal to be attending all this fun! Please excuse the quiet blog in the meantime ;-)

Today I have a card to share for our latest challenge over at Cupcake. This week is all about stars, which was a great challenge for me as I rarely create anything with stars! I made this card with my nephew in mind – he loves trains (sorry for the bad picture!).

This week’s sponsor is Crafty Emma’s Store who will be a lucky winner a Β£10 Gift Voucher.

Our Icing on the Cupcake sponsor this month is Polka Doodles, who are generously offering one lucky winner, chosen at random, a selection of four yummy Christmas themed Stamps:

Make sure to stop by the Cupcake blog and check out all the amazing DT creations & go get crafty with some stars!

Another quick summer card camp entry

Another very quick Summer Card Camp card entry for this week…

I attempted something a la Kristina with this one, but it didn’t turn out quite right – something is definitely missing I think, but can’t quite put my finger on what. Oh well, thought I would go ahead & post anyway — that PTI prize is amazing :-)

The card sketch is based off this sketch by Kristina:
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Long time, no blog…

So, I’ve been terrible at blogging lately – I’ve got absolutely no mojo and no time! But, I did a quick card tonight with this week’s color scheme for the Online Summer Card Class – sorry for the bad picture!

Hopefully more to come this weekend! Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend.

Cupcake Craft Challenge – Single Layer Card

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!
Well, it is my week to choose the theme over at Cupcake Craft and I chose single layer cards. I think this challenge has caused some serious frustration amongst the lovely DT, so please accept my apologies! I also find single layer cards difficult, but they are so much easier to mail & make great card sets – I had a thank you set in mind when I made today’s card – I think I’ll reproduce this in a rainbow of bright colours.

So, give yourself a little challenge this week & play along! This week there is a great prize from Simon Says Stamp of a $20 gift voucher.

And, its the beginning of the month, which means we have a change in Toppings! This month, Icing on the Cupcake is joined by Polka DoodlesPolka Doodles are generously offering one lucky winner, chosen at random, a selection of four Christmas themed stamps:

Finally, a Summer card camp creation!

Phew, it has been such a crazy week – haven’t had any time to create at all :-( I finally got around to making a quick card tonight for the first week of Summer Card Camp using the featured color combo.

I love these bright colors and wanted to do something for a friend…
These butterflies are a very rich purple-pink in real life, but look very red in this picture!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!
