Just a quick post today – I had hoped for some card making & blogging time this week, but no such luck! I did put together this cute little festive holiday set. I used a color combination that is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I think it worked out ok! The cards are predominantly purple & green, but have a touch of red, which works for the current challenge over at Papertrey Peeps!
Here is the set & apologies for the bad photos!
Thanks for stopping by!
Life is very busy at the moment, so I was happy to see this challenge over at the Cards Magazine blog for easy to mass produce Christmas cards.
This card is also for the current Passion for Papertrey Christmas card challenge, which couldn’t be more timely (thanks ladies!).
The card is super quick & easy — patterned paper, Papertrey Ink Christmas tag set & sumptious ribbon – voila! The picture doesn’t really do the bow justice – it looks better in real life! I made some matching gift tags, inspired by Dawn McVey’s beautiful creations, which she has been showcasing recently over on her blog.

Just a quick post this morning before I run off to work – I have one final entry for the Passion for Papertrey scrap challenge. I had such high hopes that this challenge would motivate me to further deplete my scrap box — it did help considerably, but unfortunately life got in the way this past week in a big way and card making had to take a back seat. Oh well, still managed a few creations…
Thanks for visiting! Hopefully back a little more often this week!

Well, it has been a seriously crazy week at work, so my hour of card making last night felt like a real treat (first chance this week!). Just heading out to see the Christmas spectacle on Oxford Street, but thought I would share this cute little reindeer before heading out. The card is for the Case Study Challenge #16 — Heather’s last card as muse for the challenge – her work is amazing. The card is also for the There She Goes color challenge 82. Here is the great holiday palette they’ve chosen:
